Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) involves seeking an alternative way of resolving disputes without intervention by a Court. ADR includes mediation, case appraisal, expert determination and arbitration.

ADR allows parties to openly discuss and possibly settle their dispute without a final determination by a Court.

The process is usually cheaper and quicker than litigation.
